Piggie, Gerald and the Pigeon cheered on our boys as they did a Founders Day scavenger hunt in the Library Tech Commons!

The Technology Department was busy over the summer preparing for the new school year.  One of the many projects they worked on was setting up MacBook Airs for 4th-7th graders as well as wiring five all-new laptop carts.

To tie in with our Book Fair this week, author Dan Elish spoke to our 3rd and 4th grade boys about his writing!

On March 12, the Library Tech Commons team organized a Tech Tuesday to explain to parents a few of the ways that the teachers are using educational technology in the classrooms.

On Tuesday, October 23, Allen-Stevenson parents took time out of their mornings to participate in Tech Tuesday: an hour-long discussion with our Library Tech Team, during which they learned about the many ways Allen-Stevenson helps prepare our boys for living in a technology-centric world.

On October 20, boys 4th grade and up, began Adi’s Reading Challenge: a literacy challenge where students read the best new fiction published in 2018 and try to predict the winners of the next Newbery, Coretta Scott King and other major awards from the American Library Association.

On January 29, Allen-Stevenson parents attended our first 2019 Tech Tuesday, in the newly renovated Dining Room. This Tech Tuesday focused on video games; a suggestion made the last Tech Tuesday, which was spent discussing Fortnite solely, was such a success.
